Increased access to your doctor
After hours, weekends, holidays – there’s no bad time to receive excellent medical care. Easily schedule your appointments by phone or online.
Extended, relaxed visits
You won’t feel rushed through an appointment, and there’s never a question you won’t have time to ask. Part of the relationship you’ll build with your doctor is based on your understanding of your care. We take the time you need for comprehensive care.
Same day and next-day scheduling
Because Dr. King reserves time for a select number of patients at the practice, there will be no “squeezing you in.” You’re a priority, and you’ll feel like one.
Wholesale labs and medication costs
Our savings are extended to you. All prices are transparent and quotes offered before your prescription is filled.
Full access via technology, 24/7
You’ll be able to reach us via phone, e-mail and text. We can also do tele-health appointments if desired.
A comprehensive annual physical
This exam will be fitted to your personal medical needs. It’s all about you, and your specific goals for wellness. A physical exam will be completed, and appropriate tests will be ordered. We will also make sure you are up to date with all recommended health screenings.
Minor labs and procedures
For example, minor suturing, cryotherapy, and skin biopsy are all included in your membership fee. If there is an extra charge for a service, you will know exactly what it is before proceeding. There are special labs and procedures that may require an additional fee. Our members receive a discounted price for these special labs and procedures.
Consultation with specialists
If you require a consultant for specialty medical care, Drs. King and Klaucke will work closely with that specialist. Because he is not affiliated with any other healthcare systems in the area, the choice is to made together with you.
In office procedures:
Drs. King and Klaucke perform a number of in-office procedures. Below is a list of some of the procedures they offer:

Peak Flow Testing
Cryotherapy
Mole Excision
Laceration Repair
Toenail Removal
Simple Lipoma Removal
Skin Biopsies
Sexual health prevention including pap and STI screening*
Other procedures may be available and offered for a small added cost. Additional expense may also be incurred if supplies such as splints, cast shoes or crutches are needed. There will be also be pathology costs associated with sending skin biopsies to the laboratory for further testing, and if other outside tests such as X-rays or ultrasounds are needed. These added costs are always discussed with patients prior to ordering any tests or treatments.
*Additional charges may apply for procedures, tests, labs, etc. Those costs will be discussed with the patient before administration.
Our responsibility to our patients:
Primary care medicine is the foundation of good health and wellness, and a close partnership with the individual who provides primary care improves patients’ chances at wellness. The current healthcare system does not always emphasize wellness, and certainly does not promote individual partnership/relationships between patients and the persons who care for them.
Sandpoint Direct Primary Care is different. Our goal is to keep you healthy by restoring the sanctity of the provider-patient relationship.
